Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a photovoltaic-thermoelectric integrated device. The photovoltaic-thermoelectric integrated device comprises a first solar cell, a second solar cell, and a thermoelectric series structure, wherein the thermoelectric series structure connects in series the first solar cell and the second solar cell, the thermoelectric series structure comprises a thermoelectric material region, and the conductivity σ of the thermoelectric material region is≥1×107 S/m. In the photovoltaic-thermoelectric integrated device of the present disclosure, a thermoelectric material having high conductivity and high power factor is used as a series structure between two solar cells in an assembly, and the two cells are connected in series. The series structure may increase the output voltage and energy conversion efficiency of the whole assembly.
