Abstract:
A pixel unit of a display panel. A light-shielding matrix element (30) is covered on data lines (DL), two light-shielding strips (35) of the light-shielding matrix element (30) respectively shielding two data lines (DL); each light-shielding strip (35) comprises a first light-shielding section (351) and a second light-shielding section (353) that have different widths so as to overlap with the side edges of a main pixel electrode (M) and a sub-pixel electrode (S), which effectively shields light leakage regions between the data lines (DL) and pixel electrodes (P), so that the technical problem in the existing technology of a decrease in the display quality of display panels caused by dark light leakage due to multiple light leakage regions formed between data lines (DL) and pixel electrodes (P) in a pixel unit of the display panels is solved, thereby improving display quality.
