Abstract:
The invention provides a plant control device with which, when a periodic disturbance is applied to an entity being controlled in a plant containing dead time, it is possible to obtain a high control performance by suppressing the effects of said disturbance. The plant control device is provided with a dead-time-handling repeating controller which, if a target value of a control quantity of a plant to which a periodic disturbance is being applied is supplied to said dead-time-handling repeating controller, and if dead time arises before a sensor measures the result of a change, at an operating end, in an operation quantity for setting the control quantity measured by said sensor to the target value, then the dead-time-handling repeating controller delays the input of the operation quantity into the operating end by a time obtained by subtracting said dead time from a time equivalent to one period of the disturbance.
