Abstract:
A pneumatic tire capable of increasing a drainage performance while suppressing an uneven wear, wherein a first circumferential thick groove (14) and a second circumferential thick groove (16) are formed in a tread (12) to assure the drainage performance, in the tread (12), a second outer profile line (12B) is positioned on the tire radial outer side of a first virtual outer profile line (12AF) and an intersection (Q) between the first outer profile line (12A) and the second outer profile line (12B) is positioned in the second circumferential thick groove (16), a tire lateral inside end (18IE) on the tread of the land portion (18) on a tire lateral outermost side is positioned on the tire lateral outside of the first virtual outer profile line (12AF), and the ratio of a distance (H1) to a distance (H2) is set to 0.35 ≤ H1/H2 ≤ 0.65 and the ratio of a distance (S) to a distance (W) is set to 0.40 ≤ S/W ≤ 0.70, whereby since a ground-contact length at the end of the tread is increased, a drag can be remarkably decreased, the occurrence of the uneven wear can be delayed, and the development of the uneven wear can be stopped at the second circumferential thick groove (16).
