Abstract:
4-0 esters of podophyllotoxin and 4'-demethylepipodophyllotoxin are provided. The compounds are 4-0 esters of an alkanoic acid or substituted alkanoic acid and podophyllotoxin and 4'-demethylepipodophyllotoxin. The compounds are useful for treating cancer.
