Abstract:
In a polarizing plate (200) provided with an antireflective layer, a polarizing plate (101) and an antireflective film (105) are bonded together via an adhesive layer (8). In the polarizing plate, a first transparent protective film (2) is bonded to a first main surface of a polarizer (1), and a water vapor barrier layer (3) is provided thereon. The water vapor permeability of the water vapor barrier layer is 1 g/m2∙24 h or lower. The coefficient of hygroscopic expansion of the first transparent protective film is preferably 0.10% or lower, and the arithmetic mean height Sa of the first main surface of the first transparent protective film is preferably 1.5 nm or less. In the antireflective film, an antireflective layer (5) is provided on a first main surface of a transparent film substrate (4).
