Abstract:
The present invention provides a polyacetal resin composition of which the formaldehyde generation amount is restricted to a low level, while the polyacetal resin composition has a high rigidity and a high toughness. A polyacetal resin composition according to the present invention contains: 100 parts by weight of a linear polyacetal copolymer having an oxymethylene unit as a main structural component and containing an oxyalkylene unit, serving as a comonomer unit, in a ratio of 0.4-0.9 mol%, inclusive, the ratio being based on the linear polyacetal copolymer structural unit; and 0.1-2 parts by weight, inclusive, of a branched- or crosslinked-structure polyacetal copolymer that is a copolymer of (b1) trioxane, (b2) a compound having three to four, inclusive, cyclic ether units in one molecule, and (b3) a compound (c) having one cyclic ether unit in one molecule. In addition, the polyacetal resin composition according to the present invention has a Charpy impact strength (with a notch, 23°C) of 6 kJ/m2 or higher.
