Abstract:
The present invention relates to a polyarylene ether-based polymer for an electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell, the polymer being represented by chemical formula 1. Therefore, the polyarylene ether-based polymer for an electrolyte membrane of a fuel cell, according to the present invention, has the effect of solving the problem of the deterioration of an electrolyte membrane or the incomplete transfer of an electrode catalyst layer that occurs due to a high hot-pressing temperature when conventional hydrocarbon-based polymer materials are applied, by adjusting the hot-pressing temperature to be around 130-150 °C to correspond to a low glass transition temperature in manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly by a decal process.
