Abstract:
A highly thermostable polyester resin container that even under high temperature/prolonged
period harsh retort sterilization conditions, such as those of 125°C 1
to 50 min treatment, is practically free from any deformation or shrinkage of
the container. There is provided a polyester resin container with retort matchability
characterized in that in the dynamic viscoelasticity (DMS) measurement, with
respect to the circumferential direction and vertical direction of the body
part of the container, the tan δ peak temperature is 115°C or below
and the tan δ absolute value (peak temperature height) 0.25 or less.
