Abstract:

Disclosed is a material capable of forming a polytetrafluoroethylene porous film which can readily be stretched biaxially, is capable of uniform stretching even at high stretching ratios, and has low pressure loss. The disclosed polytetrafluoroethylene mixture is of modified polytetrafluoroethylene and homo-polytetrafluoroethylene having fibrillation properties, wherein the modified polytetrafluoroethylene has a cylindrical extrusion pressure of 70 MPa or greater at a reduction ratio of 1600.
