Abstract:
This porous aluminum sintered compact is a porous aluminum sintered compact obtained by sintering a plurality of aluminum base materials, wherein a Ti-Al-based compound exists at binding sections where the aluminum base materials are bound together. A plurality of columnar protrusions that protrude outward are formed on the outer surface of each aluminum base material, and the binding sections are preferably provided on the columnar protrusions.
