Abstract:
A portable device comprising a display device (4) for displaying information in the form of letters, images or the like, a box (6) storing the display device (4) and having a display window (10, 11) in a position corresponding to the display plane of the display device (4), and an elastic body (14) inserted between at least one side surface of the display device (4)and the box (6), wherein the display device (4) is positionally controlled for free movement by the elastic body (14). Therefore, it is intended to provide a portable device that has high strength performance against a shock applied from outside the box (6) to the display device (4) held in the box (6).
