Abstract:

A portable radio communication unit in which wider-band antenna characteristics are realized and the performance is enhanced. The portable radio communication unit comprises a first case (7) encasing a first circuit board (5) and having an input section on the surface, a second case (8) encasing a second circuit board (6) and having a display section on the surface, a section (4) for electrically connecting the first circuit board (5) and the second circuit board (6), and an antenna section (3) and an element section (9) arranged on any one of the first and second circuit boards, wherein the first case (7) and the second case (8) are connected through a hinge section (2) so that they can be folded.
