Abstract:
The present invention enables an operation device to acquire the position of a user who holds the operation device. A positioning system (1) comprises: a wearing fixture (30) that is worn by a user and that can communicate with the an operation device (20) held by the user; and a communication apparatus (40) that can wirelessly communicate with the mounting fixture (30) and that is disposed apart from the user. The wearing fixture (30) or the communication apparatus (40) calculates the position of the wearing fixture (30) on the basis of communication between the two. The wearing fixture (30) transmits information about the calculated position of the wearing fixture (30) to the operation device (20).
