Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a power generation system which makes it possible to improve the degree of freedom of installation. [Solution] A power generation system (1) is provided with: first fluid chambers (10a-10e) that contain a fluid; a second fluid chamber (20) that contains the fluid; a communication flow channel (30) that communicates the first fluid chambers (10a-10e) and the second fluid chamber (20) with each other; first pistons (40a-40e) that are disposed such that the fluid in the first fluid chambers (10a-10e) can be pressed; a second piston (50) that is disposed such that the fluid in the second fluid chamber (20) can be pressed; and power generation modules (60a-60e) that convert pressing forces of the corresponding first pistons (40) into electricity using piezoelectric elements (63). The power generation elements (63) of the power generation modules (60a-60e) generate power in the cases where the second piston (50) is pressed, and the pressing force is transmitted to the first pistons (40a-40e) via the fluid, then the piezoelectric elements (63) are indirectly pressed due to the force thus transmitted.
