Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of the energy consumption of electronic devices. Provided are a power optimization method and an electronic device, by means of which the power consumption of the electronic device can be reduced in a do-not-disturb mode. The method is applied to an electronic device, and a plurality of applications are installed in the electronic device. The method comprises: an electronic device enabling a do-not-disturb mode in response to a first operation; and when the electronic device is in a screen-off state, the electronic device performing power optimization on a target application among a plurality of applications, wherein the power optimization is used for reducing the resource occupation of the electronic device by the target application; the target application comprises at least one of the following applications: an application beyond an application white list of the electronic device, an application of the electronic device that executes a preset operation in the screen-off state, and an application selected by a user from the plurality of applications; and the preset operation comprises at least one of audio playing, audio recording, navigating and data downloading.
