Abstract:

Provided is a process for preparing an aminoarylsilane by deprotecting the corresponding compound in which the amine group has been protected by a cyclic disilane group. Also provided is a method for preparing the protected amine-containing compound by reacting the corresponding protected aminoaryl halide with a Grignard agent followed by a silane. Further provided is a process for preparing the protected aminoaryl halide by reacting the corresponding aminoaryl halide with a disilane which forms the amine protecting group.
