Title:
PRETENSIONER, SEATBELT RETRACTOR WITH THE PRETENSIONER, AND SEATBELT DEVICE WITH THE SEATBELT RETRACTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/073430
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce the rattling of a force transmitting member by configuring the present invention in such a manner that, in a non-operating state thereof, the pressing force of a spring is efficiently transmitted to the force transmitting member through a piston. [Solution] A recess (25h) curved in a circular arc shape is formed in the outer peripheral side surface (25f) of the piston (25) of a pretensioner (8). In the initial state of setting of the piston (25), the recess (25h) is in close contact or substantially in close contact with a portion (10d1) of the inner peripheral surface (10d) on the curved inner peripheral side (10f) of the curved section (10e) of a pipe (10). As a result, even if the outer peripheral side surface (25f) of the piston (25) is set at the curved section (10e) of the pipe (10), the amount of lapping of the outer peripheral side surface (25f) of the piston (25) on the portion (10d1) of the inner peripheral surface (10d) of the curved section (10e) of the pipe (10) can be reduced. This means that the sliding resistance between the piston (25) and the pipe (10) is small in comparison to a solid cylindrical piston which does not have a recess in the outer peripheral side surface thereof.
