Abstract:
A grouping processing unit (8) generates a plurality of circuit diagram groups by dividing a circuit diagram into a plurality of pieces. A component classification unit (10) classifies components into parent components, child components that are directly or indirectly connected to the parent components, and other components. A proximity block generation unit (11) generates one or more proximity blocks, each of which includes a parent component and the child components. An intra-proximity-block component arrangement design unit (12) arranges the components within a proximity block. A general arrangement design unit (15) acquires regions of a circuit diagram group, specifically a high-priority circuit diagram group, a high-priority power supply circuit diagram group, a low-priority circuit diagram group, and a low-priority power supply circuit diagram group, in the stated order and arranges one or more proximity blocks that are included in the circuit diagram group within the acquired regions of the circuit diagram group .
