Title:
PROCESSES FOR PREPARATION OF HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2002/100850
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A process for preparation of heterocyclic compounds represented by the general formula (I), characterized by cyclizing an acetal (II) or an aldehyde (III) in the presence of a phosphoric acid compound in a molar amount below that of the acetal or the aldehyde&semi and a process for preparation of 1−substituted indoles represented by the general formula (VII), characterized by cyclizing an N−substituted anilinoacet− aldehyde acetal (VI) in the presence of an acid. (II) (III) (I) (VI) (VII) (In the formulae, R1, R2, R3, R4, R8, R9, R10, and X are each as defined in the description.)
