Abstract:
Disclosed is a product sales system allowing a business to carry out effective sales promotion activities, a user to purchase products at low prices, and a product sales site operator to sell products to users at low prices. The disclosed product sales system provides a site which users can access using user terminals via the internet and which enables the shopping for products while inserting the products into a virtual shopping cart. A total amount confirmation screen generation unit: extracts from a content storage unit the affiliate content corresponding to user characteristic information and the contents of the virtual shopping cart; generates and sends to a user terminal a total amount confirmation screen displaying the extracted affiliate content together with the total amount for the products; subtracts, as specified by the displayed affiliate content, the discount of said affiliate content from the total amount; and generates and sends to the user terminal the total amount confirmation screen which displays the total amount after subtraction.
