Abstract:
The present invention favorably cools a projection device by using one cooling fan. A projection device (10) is provided with: an optical device (60); a control circuit substrate (300) disposed above the optical device (60); a cooling fan (280) having a top surface air intake port (280a) that is disposed near an air intake section (264), which is a rear surface air intake section of a case (250) on an opposite side in a projection direction, and that takes in air from the top surface, and a bottom surface air intake port (280b) that takes in air from the bottom surface; and heat sinks (first heat sink (281), second heat sink (282)) that are provided so as to correspond to a discharge port (280c) of the cooling fan (280) and are linked to the optical device (60), wherein the fluid resistance on the bottom surface air intake port (280b) side is less than the fluid resistance on the top surface area intake port (280a) side.
