Abstract:
The present invention provides a protective element for a secondary battery, wherein two flux cores are embedded in a fuse element to be spaced apart from each other while being disposed adjacent to fuse electrodes on both sides of the fuse element. Therefore, without having to apply the flux to the surface of the fuse element, the production process for uniformly applying flux can be excluded, thereby greatly reducing the production cost. In addition, when the fuse element is melted, a first flux core and a second flux core embedded in the fuse element guide the fuse element melts toward the fuse electrodes on both sides, respectively, thereby improving fusing performance of the fuse element and ensuring interruption of a current path after the fusing of the fuse element.
