Abstract:

Pyrazolopyrimidinone derivatives represented by the general formula (IA) or (IB): (IA) (IB) or the general formula (IA’) or (IB’): (IA’) (IB’) (wherein each symbol is as defined in the description). The compounds can enhance the intracellular cAMP level by virtue of their selective inhibitory activity against PDE7, and are useful in the prevention and treatment of various allergic diseases and inflammatory and immunologic diseases through their inhibiting the activation of T cells.
