Abstract:

A radio transmitter/receiver comprises a residual frequency offset measuring unit for measuring the residual frequency offset of a received radio reception signal, a storage unit for storing plural correspondence tables between combinations of modulation schemes and encoding rates, and carrier to interference and noise ratios (CINRs), and a modulation controlling unit for selecting a correspondence table stored in the storage unit on the basis of the residual frequency offset measured by the residual frequency offset measuring unit and selecting a modulation scheme and an encoding rate on the basis of the CINRs in the selected correspondence table.
