According to an aspect of the invention, a radio terminal comprises: a frame distributing unit that distributes frames to be transmitted to another radio terminal; a first communication unit that adds sequence numbers to the distributed frames and then transmits the distributed frames to the other radio terminal by use of a first channel or a first mode; and a second communication unit that adds sequence numbers to the distributed frames and then transmits the distributed frames to the other radio terminal by use of a second channel or a second mode. In a case where the frame distributing unit distributes the frames to one of the first and second communication units and changes the frame transmission source from the afore-said one of the communication units to the other thereof, the frame distributing unit transmits, to the other radio terminal, a change notification frame including a transmission start sequence number that is a sequence number corresponding to a transmission start of the other communication unit. Then, the frame distributing unit switches the frame distribution destination from the afore-said one of the communication units to the other thereof.
