The present invention discloses a rail vehicle and a pipeline protection device thereof. The pipeline protection device comprises a support frame used to support a pipeline of a rail vehicle. A first rotating portion and a second rotating portion are disposed at two ends of the support frame, respectively. The first rotating portion and the second rotating portion respectively support a terminal base frame and a rotating base frame used to rotate the rail vehicle, and are rotatably connected, in a vertical plane and in a horizontal plane, to the terminal base frame and the rotating base frame, respectively. Regardless of being in a rotating process of the rotating base frame, or in a normal vehicle driving process, the support frame can provide to the pipeline with favorable supporting, prevent wearing of the pipeline resulting from contacting with the ground, eliminating a safety hazard caused by the wearing of the pipeline, and ensuring safety of rail vehicle operation.
