Abstract:

Disclosed are a communication network for a railway vehicle, and a railway vehicle. The railway vehicle comprises multiple carriages. The communication network comprises: a first communication wire (14) extending through a first region (11) of each carriage; and a second communication wire (15) extending through a second region (12) of each carriage in parallel with the first communication wire and constituting a first communication loop together with the first communication wire. The first region and the second region of each carriage are isolated from each other. The first regions of at least some carriages and the second regions of at least some carriages are provided with first network components (13) used for updating communication data transmitted by the first communication wire and the second communication wire, respectively. The networking cost of an Ethernet communication network for a multi-marshalling vehicle is reduced, and the usability of the communication network is improved.
