Title:
RANGE OF MOTION CAPTURE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/135560
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
A range of motion is determined. A tracking information including a plurality of skeletal positions from an optical system is received. A plurality of vectors between selected ones of the skeletal positions, where the plurality of vectors has an angular relationship, is determined. The angular relationship is tracked over time, whereby a sequence of angular relationships is detected. From the sequence of angular relationships, the range of motion over time is determined. A range of motion is determined. Tracking information including a plurality of skeletal positions is received from an optical system. A plurality of vectors between selected ones of the skeletal positions where the plurality of vectors has an angular relationship is determined. It is determined whether the angular relationship meets a criteria. In the event the angular relationship does not meet the criteria, the angular relationship is rejected.
