Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a real-time detection unit that is detachably attached to a workpiece or a processing tool and capable of measuring changes, in a desired-to-be-measured portion of the workpiece or processing tool during processing, in a measurement target spaced apart from the desired-to-be-measured portion. [Solution] The real-time detection unit comprises: measuring means for detecting changes in vibration based on changes in at least a measurement target; and shielding means for shielding the measuring means from the outside to physically eliminate changes in factors other than changes in the measurement target due to the execution of processing. Further, the real-time detection unit further comprises attachment means for attaching the real-time detection unit to a workpiece or machine tool, and when the real-time detection unit is attached to the workpiece or the machine tool, there is no vibration change other than damped vibration that occurs at the boundary therebetween.
