Abstract:
Provided is a reduction gear within which a sensor can be installed, and of which the cost and size are reduced. A cycloid reduction gear 1 has an eccentric shaft 11 to which rotation of a motor is inputted, a fixed housing 31 fixed to a prescribed setting member SM, and a rotating housing 51 on the outer periphery of the fixed housing 31. When the eccentric shaft 11 rotates, a curved plate 21 is caused to slide. The curved plate 21 slides within a range limited by a fixed housing roller 33, etc., that is supported by the fixed housing 31. The curved plate 21 transmits force to a rotating housing roller 52, etc. As a result, the rotating housing 51 rotates at a lesser speed than the eccentric shaft 11. At this time, a sensor 35 is fixed to the fixed housing 31, and a sensor cable 36 passes through a hollow shaft 34 on substantially the same circumference as the fixed housing roller 33.
