Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reforming apparatus for producing hydrogen by using high frequency induction heating. One aspect of a reforming apparatus for producing hydrogen by using high frequency induction heating, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a reactor filled with a catalyst for activating the reforming reaction of methane gas and water vapor; and a heater comprising a coil, which is wound around the outer surface of the reactor so as to heat, by induction, the reactor when power is applied, wherein, when the reactor is heated by the heater, methane gas and water vapor are preheated while flowing inside the reactor, and then the reforming reaction thereof is activated by the catalyst.
