Abstract:
A refrigerator having a thawing function is disclosed. The refrigerator comprises: a freezer chamber having a thawing chamber; an evaporator for generating cold air through heat exchange; a circulation fan for transferring, to the freezer chamber, the cold air generated by the evaporator; a high frequency wave generating unit provided at one side of the thawing chamber so as to generate high frequency waves in order to thaw a material to be thawed accommodated in the thawing chamber; an endothermic unit thermally coming in contact with the high frequency wave generating unit so as to absorb heat from the high frequency wave generating unit; and a heat conduction member connected between the endothermic unit and the evaporator so as to transmit heat from the endothermic unit to the evaporator.
