Reagents that regulate human phosphatidic acid phosphatase type 2c-like protein and reagents which bind to human phosphatidic acid phosphatase type 2c-like gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, cancer, cardiovascular disorders, CNS, COPD, asthma, and diabetes.
