Title:
REMAINING BATTERY CAPACITY ESTIMATION DEVICE AND REMAINING BATTERY CAPACITY ESTIMATION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/162967
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is provided with a current calculation unit for calculating a current between remaining capacities on the basis of a first remaining battery capacity reflected in the open circuit voltage of a battery and a second remaining battery capacity not reflected in the open circuit voltage, a first remaining battery capacity estimation unit for estimating the first remaining battery capacity on the basis of the terminal voltage of the battery and a value obtained by subtracting the current between remaining capacities from the battery current value, a second remaining battery capacity estimation unit for estimating a second remaining battery capacity by integrating the current between remaining capacities, and an adder for adding the estimated first remaining battery capacity value and the calculated second remaining battery capacity value and using the result as the remaining battery capacity. The current calculation unit calculates the current between remaining capacities so that a prescribed potential difference is maintained between the first remaining battery capacity and second remaining battery capacity.
