Abstract:
It is intended to provide a preventive/remedy for Alzheimer’s disease which contains, as the active ingredient(s), a substance inhibiting the suppressive effect of β-amyloid 1-40 on the differentiation of vascular endothelial cell precursors and/or the suppressive effect of thereof on the differentiation of stem cells into endothelium precursor and/or a substance promoting angiogenesis. It is also intended to provide a method of screening a substance inhibiting the suppressive effect of β-amyloid 1-40 on the differentiation of vascular endothelial cell precursors and/or the suppressive effect of thereof on the differentiation of stem cells into endothelium precursor and/or a substance promoting angiogenesis.
