This remote conference system comprises: a storage unit that stores room management information that manages a virtual conference room (hereinafter, referred to as a room); and an execution unit that creates a room and executes a remote conference on the basis of the room management information stored in the storage unit. The room management information includes at least a room ID that uniquely identifies the room and room setting information including room setting items. The execution unit includes: a first room creation unit that creates the room management information on the basis of the room setting information input by a creator of the room, and executes the remote conference; and a second room creation unit that automatically sets the room setting information on the basis of one-click action of the creator, creates the room management information on the basis of the automatically set room setting information, and executes the remote conference.
