Abstract:
To provide resin beads having good biodegradability that can replace resin beads made from a petroleum-derived synthetic material, capable of providing various products such as highly stable cosmetics having an excellent feel such as spread on the skin, moistness, and softness that maintain that feel over an extended period of time, and various products such as cosmetics that use the resin beads. Resin beads obtained by surface treatment of core beads formed from a resin having cellulose as a main component by a solid surface treatment agent, in which the volume-based cumulative 50% particle size is 50 μm or less, the sphericity is 0.7-1.0, the surface smoothness is 70-100%, and the degree of crystallization is 60% or less. The present invention also provides a product which is any one of a cosmetic preparation, an external dermatological agent, a coating material, a molded body, a film, a coating agent and a resin composition, and which contains the resin beads.
