The present disclosure provides a resource configuration method and apparatus, capable of being applied to a mobile communication technology. The method comprises: a network device of a target cell sends frequency domain configuration information to a network device of a neighbor cell, wherein the frequency domain configuration information is used for indicating a frequency domain resource used by an uplink and/or a downlink of the target cell, or the frequency domain configuration information is used for indicating a frequency domain resource used by an uplink and/or a downlink configured by the neighbor cell of the target cell. Therefore, after the network device of the neighbor cell receives the frequency domain configuration information, the frequency domain resource used by the uplink and/or the downlink can be configured for the neighbor cell according to the frequency domain configuration information, so that cross interference is avoided, and the transmission performance is improved. That is, cross interference among different cells is avoided in a mode of frequency domain information interaction among network devices, so that not only can the transmission performance be improved, but also the applicability of the method can be improved, and actual application requirements can be satisfied.
