Abstract:

This robot instruction device comprises a speech input unit, a speech recognition unit, a specific word selection unit that selects a specific word to match to a word recognized by the speech recognition unit, and an operation command generation unit that generates an operation command for a robot on the basis of operation information associated with the specific word selected by the specific word selection unit. The specific word contains: a first word that specifies a pitch corresponding to the amount of movement when the robot moves in a specified direction from a designated position; and a second word that specifies the direction that the robot moves. The operation command generation unit generates an operation command so as to move the robot in the designated direction at the designated pitch when the pitch designated by the first word has not been updated and the direction of motion of the robot has been designated by the second word.
