Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rotating cutter failure state onboard monitoring system and a detection method therefor. The monitoring system comprises: a detector, a data processing controller, a cutter data server, and a Hall's current sensor. The diameter of a cutter and the length of the cutter are determined on the basis of a cutter image series, a state of wear and a state of damage of the cutter are determined on the basis of the diameter of the cutter and of the length of the cutter; a spindle current signal is acquired by utilizing the Hall current sensor, and a state of chipped blade and a state of fracture of the cutter are determined on the basis of the spindle current signal. The employment of the present invention implements one versatile cutter failure sate onboard real-time monitoring system that is highly efficient, sensitive, and covering an entire processing process, aids in preventing parts being scrapped due to cutter failure, increases cutter utilization rate, and reduces processing costs.
