Abstract:
Provided are: a rotating electrical-machine stator which has outstanding stator coil assembly workability and for which the axial length can be limited; and a rotating electrical machine equipped with such stator. The present invention is a rotating electrical-machine stator 1 equipped with a stator core 10 having a plurality of teeth and a stator coil 3 wrapped around a teeth section, wherein: part of the stator coil comprises terminal stator coils 40, 60 having crossover wires 43, 61 that connect to an in-phase stator coil and lead wires 41, 63 that connect to coils other than the in-phase stator coil; end sections of the crossover wires and the lead wires in the axial direction of the stator core form a multi-level configuration 71, 72, 73 with the first level being the stator core side; and at least one of the lead wires of the terminal stator coil is disposed with an interval of at least one level in the multi-level configuration.
