Abstract:
Provided are: a liquid hydrocarbon production method for obtaining a rubber composition that contains a liquid hydrocarbon by heating a crosslinked rubber at 300°C or less in a reaction solvent that has a boiling point of 230°C or less and contains an aldehyde having a hydrocarbon group, the carbon number of which is 2 or higher; a re-crosslinked rubber obtained from a rubber composition produced by said production method; a tire; and a rubber industrial product. This liquid hydrocarbon production method makes it possible to produce liquid hydrocarbons of higher molecular weight at a high decomposition rate even under mild conditions.
