Abstract:
A rubber composition for a semi-electroconductive rubber roll which comprises 50 to 90 parts by weight of a polyether rubber (A), 10 to 50 parts by weight of an acrylic rubber (B), 0 to 35 parts by weight of an inorganic filler and 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a cross-linking agent, all parts being relative to 100 parts by weight of the sum of the polyether rubber (A) and the acrylic rubber (B); and a semi-electroconductive rubber roll produced through forming the said composition. The rubber composition exhibits excellent processability when processed with a kneading roll made of a metal or the like, and the rubber roll has a low hardness in such a degree that it can be used as a roll for OA equipment and exhibits an electroconductivity in a middle resistance region.
