Abstract:
This saddled vehicle and rider protection equipment make it possible to protect a rider from the front and the rear by means of an airbag with a simple structure. The saddled vehicle comprises a rider seat (17) and an airbag (42) which is provided to the rear of the seat (17) or to a rear portion of the seat (17). The airbag (42) comprises an upward expansion part (45) which expands upwards during expansion and a second expansion part (50) which branches off and extends from a portion of the upward expansion part (45). The second expansion part (50) comprises a forward extension part (51) which extends forward after extending outward from the upward expansion part (45) in the vehicle width direction, and an inward curving part (52) which curves inward from the forward extension part (51) in the vehicle width direction.
