Abstract:

A conventional conveyance line is provided with an empty specimen rack conveyance line that is separate from a specimen rack conveyance line that carries specimens, but the conveyance lines intersect each other, thereby leading to reduced processing speed. When the specimen rack conveyance line and the empty specimen rack conveyance line are configured as a two-level line, an elevating action mechanism or the like must be added in order to connect the upper-level conveyance line and the lower-level conveyance line, and it is possible that the system will be a complicated and high-cost system. In the present invention, an empty holder conveyance line and a main conveyance line in an upper and lower two-level arrangement are connected by a single conveyance line having a horizontal part and a sloped part, whereby the mutual intersection of conveyance lines is eliminated and a low-cost configuration can be obtained.
