Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide a sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements, which has excellent curability at light shielded parts and which is capable of preventing gelling and thickening when dissolving a photosensitizing compound. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a vertical conduction material and a liquid crystal display element, each of which is obtained using said sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements. The sealing agent for liquid crystal display elements according to the present invention contains a curable resin and a photosensitizing compound. The photosensitizing compound contains a compound having an alicyclic backbone and a thioxanthone backbone.
