Abstract:
Provided is a self-traveling electronic device in which the lower part of a housing is shaped so that, even if there are stepped sections, the self-traveling electronic device can smoothly travel over the stepped sections.
The self-traveling electronic device is provided with: a housing (101); a drive wheel (108) which is disposed on the bottom surface of the housing, comes into contact with a floor surface, and causes the housing to travel; a follower wheel (109) which is disposed on the bottom surface, comes into contact with the floor surface, and supports the housing; and a sloped plate (104) which is disposed so as to continue to the bottom surface from the front lower end of the housing in the travel direction. The housing has a bumper (111) which can be displaced in the travel direction, and the front end of the sloped plate is located behind the front lower end (102) of the bumper when the bumper is moved backward.
