Abstract:
Provided is a semiconductor device which performs stable operation. The semiconductor device comprises first to fourth transistors. The first to fourth transistors have first insulators. The first and second transistors have first gate insulating films, and the third and fourth transistors have second gate insulating films. The first and second transistors have first channel forming regions along the side surfaces of first openings formed in the first insulators, and the third and fourth transistors have second channel forming regions along the side surfaces of second openings formed in the first insulators. The first gate insulating films are located above the first channel forming regions, and the second gate insulating films are located above the second channel forming regions. The first gate insulating films are thicker than the second gate insulating films. The first and second transistors are electrically connected in series, and the third and fourth transistors are electrically connected in series.
