Abstract:
This siphon-type air diffusion device for performing intermittent aeration is provided with: at least two siphon-type air diffusion pipes; and an air supply means for supplying air to the at least two siphon-type air diffusion pipes. The siphon-type air diffusion pipes are each provided with: a siphon chamber including a first siphon chamber, and a second siphon chamber located downstream of the first siphon chamber; a communication part which allows communication between the first siphon chamber and the second siphon chamber; an air diffusion hole provided downstream of the siphon chamber; a path from the siphon chamber to the air diffusion hole; and a treated water inflow part provided upstream of the siphon chamber. The air supply means is provided with: a distribution pipe which extends in the direction in which the siphon-type air diffusion pipes are arranged; and an introduction part which is provided with one or more air supply ports, branches from the distribution pipe, and supplies air to the siphon-type air diffusion pipes. The distribution pipe is provided above the air supply ports. The air supply port in the highest position in the vertical direction among the air supply ports of the introduction part is provided below the lower end of a partition wall which partitions the siphon chamber and the path.
